PRESS / PRODUCT RELEASE: EAST WENATCHEE, WA - 08/2007 Paine Electronics, LLC, the leader in custom, precision pressure instrumentation, is pleased to announce the release of it's newest extreme environment high temperature probe.

Our new temperature probes offer the accuracy, stability, repeatability and reliability that Paine is recognized for in its pressure transducer line.

These probes are designed for extreme environments. The small size allows for quick thermal equilibrium and installation in restricted spaces. The hermetically sealed package offers indefinite life of the sensor. This is a large advantage over non-hermetic packages that degrade over time and need recalibration or replacement due to the environment.  Platinum RTDs are typically the most linear, stable, repeatable and accurate of all RTDs. They can be offered in a variety of resistances from 100 ohms to 1000 ohms in either wire wound or thin film. With higher resistance RTDs the sensitivity measurement is higher and the package can be made smaller improving response times. We also have RTDs with 4 to 20mA current output for long distance transmissions without the loss of signal integrity.

PRESS / PRODUCT RELEASE: EAST WENATCHEE, WA - 07/2007 Paine Electronics, LLC, the leader in custom, precision pressure instrumentation, is pleased to announce the release of its newest 'S' Class pressure transducers

Paine now offers Space Qualified Class ‘S’ / QML-V Electronics. Our hybrids are ELDRS free utilizing MIL-PRF-38535 components, Radiation Hardened to 300 Krad (Si) Total Dose. Immune to Single Event Latchup. Hardened to prevent Single Event Transients (SETs) in excess of 1V for LETs up to 36 MeV/mg/cm2.

All space qualified transducers incorporate full power isolation via DC/DC converter. The input power bus is isolated from the signal to >500 VDC and current limited for ultimate system protection.
